What Is The Remodeling Show & DeckExpo?
As the only conference event of its kind, the Remodeling Show & DeckExpo focuses on residential construction specifically. This conference has three main events, the Remodeling Show, Deck Expo and Journal of Light Construction Live. It’s a great show for remodeling and decking pros, as it focuses on issues that directly impact their trade.
This year, the Remodeling Show & DeckExpo took place in Nashville, on October 26 and October 27. There were 300 exhibitors on display as well as a full conference program for continuing education.
New Remodeling Products
For remodeling pros, if you’re looking for what new products you need to know about, you’ve come to the right place. The Remodeling Show & DeckExpo showcased many new and featured products this year. Here are a few you should know:
If you’re looking for an insulation solution, PolyMaster RetroFoam is what older, existing homes need. With more focus on green homebuilding and remodeling, homeowners are looking for great insulation options. This spray installation is easily and quickly installed into existing walls, making it a great choice for remodelers.
Similarly, new innovations in ventilation are aiding homeowners and pros to incorporate green products. Panasonic Ventilation DC model boasts “the lowest profile Energy Star rated ventilation fan,” making it a great choice for eco-friendly homes.
For the active homeowner, Keifer USA flooring is easy to install and durable, thanks to their interlocking flooring system. Featured products include the FitZone, Tuff-Lock and Tuff-Roll flooring systems. It’s a great choice for high-traffic, active areas like playrooms or home gyms.
New Decking Products
Of course, there are also great decking products on display for pros to learn about and even test out. Here are a few of the featured deck products at the Remodeling Show & DeckExpo:
Among their already innovative line of products, Deckorators is making their mark in the decking industry. For homeowners who need a deck weatherproofing solution, the Fastendry system keeps moisture out and allows for a worry-free decking experience.
Citing the popular gray neutral trend, Duradek announced their line of Arctic Quartz in ultra-vinyl decking materials this July. These shades of gray are the answer that homeowners will be looking for when it comes to their outdoor decking décor.
With options that are DIY friendly, few actually are when it comes to class. However, with the Crystal Rail Frameless Glass Railing system, the no-post features make this easy to install for all!
